Since 2001, Wiesbaum has been home to the craft of tofu and meat-free foods made from plants. Originally founded as VIANA Naturkost GmbH, the site was renamed Tofutown.com GmbH in March 2004 – and has since expanded its capacity to produce tofu, savoury alternatives, and for a time, soy drinks.
Over the years, the facility has grown into a centre of expertise for whole foods made from soy and grains.
In October 2024, Wiesbaum entered a new chapter: acquired through an asset deal by New Originals Wiesbaum GmbH and proudly integrated into The New Originals Company.
Today, around 80 people bring their skills and dedication to the site – shaping real food from plants, rooted in tradition and crafted for tomorrow’s food culture.
